This is a rare April 16th, 1900 program (playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the VICTOR HERBERT and HARRY B. SMITH comic opera "CYRANO de BERGERAC" at the Tremont Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The Original Broadway production opened September 18th, 1899 at the Knickerbocker Theatre in New York City and played 28 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred FRANCIS WILSON in the title role and featured LULU GLASER as "Roxanne". Others in the cast included PAULINE HALL, WILLIAM BRODERICK, PETER LANG, ROBERT BRODERICK, A. M. CONDITION: (Please Note!) There is heavy creasing, light soiling to the covers and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare playbill will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
