Allows charging of the terminal inside the mobile computer and provides a slot to charge a spare battery outside of the mobile computer.

Provides for serial communication between a PC and the mobile computer using Palm Desktop Software which is available as a free download from Symbol Technologies, Inc.

This cradle kit includes everything you need and works with all Symbol SPT1800 series and SPT1700 series of mobile computers. The power supply accepts input of 120-250V, 50-60hz., so this cradle can also be used outside of North America with the proper line cord for the power supply.

All parts of the kit are genuine Symbol Technologies, Inc. (now Motorola) products and are in excellent working and cosmetic.

The kit comes complete with cradle, serial cable, power supply, line cord, and quick reference guide.

If your computer does not have serial ports, you will need to buy a USB-serial converter.

This cradle is equivalent to Symbol Part Number CRD 1700-1000S.
