This rare and collectible book, "The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection" 6th Edition, written by the famous Charles Darwin, is a valuable addition to any collection. The book was published in New York by Hurst and Company in 1900 and features leather binding, making it a durable and long-lasting piece.

The book is an original edition and is in good condition. It contains valuable information on biological science and natural selection, making it a must-have for any collector or enthusiast. Own a piece of history with this exquisite book.

The 6th edition was Darwin's final edits ever done to the book, working on this 6th edition right up to his death.

**Personal thoughts about this edition: I find that Darwin's final edits/thoughts to the subject at hand, the subject he put so much into, is FAAAAR more valuable and appreciated than, for example, his very 1st thoughts and style of the subject and theory.  Just my opinion of course...but to all those "1st edition is way more rare and desired" out there .....I'd be honored and very struck to have the authors final thoughts and style put Into such works and theory such as this. :) anyways....

There seems to have had a cigarette that got slightly burnt thru a few of the beginning pages, someone wrote their name in the very beginning of the book and wrote another name on a few pages into the book. There is a slight tear on bottom of a page in the beginning also. The leather book binding has very minimal wear and tear (of 123 years, the shape of the book is overall in great condition).

- See the slight damages in photos.
