This is a souvenir plate commemorating the 1970 menu for Esquire's annual Diner des Forsytes.  This appears to be similar to the Friends of Escoffier dinner.  The banquet was one of the highlights of the Chicago culinary scene and it provided an opportunity for the 71 Club Executive House, Chicago to show off their skills. It appears each year featured a different restaurant.  These were elaborate French-inspired feasts.  This plate features the menu in French in it's entirety.  The Plate is in good vintage pre-owned condition.  There are no nicks, chips or repairs.  Please review and enlarge all photos for additional details, views and measurements.  Shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
