Found in an estate liquidation on Madeira Island Portugal.
Hand painted smaller scaled serving plate in the form of a fish.
The style and coloration are classic for the Bordalo Pinheiro factory.
Although not marked as such, it very well may be from that factory as many older wares were just numbered and identified as to country of origin.
It measures 9 inches end to end and has survived in good vintage condition free of chips, cracks or damaging abrasions.
