Smooth, hard, and wear resistant, these shafts work with linear bearings to reduce friction in manual and automated systems, such as those found in packing, machine tool, and material handling operations. All are turned, ground, and polished to tight diameter and straightness tolerances.

Steel shafts are generally stronger than aluminum and stainless steel shafts but not as corrosion resistant. Carbon steel shafts are good for general purpose use. Chrome-plated carbon steel shafts have greater resistance to wear and corrosion than plain carbon steel shafts. Alloy steel shafts are stronger and more wear resistant than carbon steel.

Surface smoothness—The lower the microinch value, the smoother the finish and the less friction and wear it will cause on the bearing.

 

Please note:
1. Optical axis is belong to the cut pieces, so do not accept quality problems outside the return service, please know oh!
2. Because we are using a cutting machine initial cut to size, the general error within 10MM (only long, not short).
3. Optical shaft is the whole (2 m or 3 m) clamped at both ends of the plating, so the top two ends may be plating layer is too thin, blackening and other phenomena. Cut pieces if you can not accept one end of the possible existence of blackening, please inform in the buyer's message! Otherwise, we will ship by default.
