Found in an estate liquidation on Madeira Island Portugal.
Vintage limited edition porcelain plate, one from a series.
The plate is a replica from a service that was produced in the mid 19th Century for the Portuguese Queen, Dona Maria II.
Identified on the back by the maker, L`Heure Royale, the original antique service numbered 12 plates.
The plate in this listing depicts a bird, identified on the rim as illustrated, "Rolieire".
Dating from the first release in 1992, it measures 9 inches in diameter and has survived free of any evidence of use, still nestled in a foam protective sleeve.
The collector however did not retain any other boxes or COA.
