2200x California Poppy Mix Californica Annual Seeds

California Poppy Mix Californica Annual Seeds produces a magnificent combination of cerise, carmine, crimson, orange, and yellow semi-double and single flowers. California poppies are simple to cultivate in borders and beds, or you can let them self-seed in gravel gardens to create drifts of colour.  These delicate hardy annuals are sturdier than they seem and flourish in arid, deficient soil. The papery blossoms are superb in gardens and meadows.

Growing Instructions:

Sow the California Poppy Mix  seeds from Spring through to late summer. In a sunny, well-drained area, sow sparingly from Spring through to late autumn. The seed needs the winter's cold to emerge from its dormant state naturally. If you sow it right next to established grassy areas, it won't grow well. After being sown, seeds can remain dormant for years, producing fresh blooms every year. This has the advantage of allowing the area or meadow to grow for an additional season. Avoid planting during the warm summer months since seeds will scarcely sprout and those that do will quickly die back. California Poppy Mix flower from June through to August.
