Thames Street, east of Broadway, are part of the registered National History
District of Fell’s Point, a harborside community established in 1726 by William
Fell, shipbuilder. This area, which was the original port of Baltimore, where
the U.S. Frigate Constellation and the famed Baltimore Clipperships were built,
is now undergoing a dramatic renaissance.”
