Description of the reverse

The reverses of the coins depict the symbolic figures of a Ukrainian (on a 10 hryvnia coin) and a Pole (on a 10 zloty coin) sitting at the same table covered with a tablecloth and sharing bread and wine. This is a symbolic composition inherent in the traditional ideas and customs of both neighboring Slavic peoples: sharing bread means living in goodness and harmony, fraternizing, helping in times of need. To break bread is to share fate, the highest degree of affection and friendship. Sitting at the same table and drinking wine from the same cup means mutual love and respect. Drinking from a common cup symbolizes unity, brotherhood. If two coins are folded together, the ornament in the lower part forms a flower - a symbol of hope, life and development. On the reverse of the coins there are inscriptions in a semicircle: FRIENDSHIP AND BROTHERHOOD - THE GREATEST WEALTH (on a coin with a denomination of 10 hryvnias); PRZYJAZN I BRATERSTWO TO NAJWIEKSZE BOGACTWO (on a 10 zloty coin).

Obverse description

The obverse of the 10-hryvnia coin features: at the top on the background of a stylized blue-yellow flag (pad printing is used) - the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, at the top left - the inscription UKRAINE and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; in the center of the inscription: the weight of the pure precious metal is 31.1 g, the year of minting of the coin is 2023, the designation of the metal and its sample is Ag 999; denomination - 10 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia - against the background of a decorative and artistic composition that reproduces the horrors of war.
