The 'No ground plane" CB antenna is specifically designed to solve the problems associated with the lack of ground plane (counterpoise). This normally occurs on vehicles or structures constructed of plastic, fiberglass, or wood. Low-profile, compact size is perfect for apartment dwellers to mount them on a balcony or home owners with antenna restrictions. Measures 36 inches in length. SO-239 connector in base accommodates standard PL-259 coax cable connectors. Rated at 500 watts PEP (100W AM). 

NOTE: Not designed to be mounted on metal or conductive surfaces as this may de-tune the antenna. Recommended to be mounted on non-conductive pole or flat surface away from any metal.
