The napkin ring bears a full set of Birmingham 1962 (N) solid silver hallmarks along with rubbed manufacturer mark. It is nonetheless, the distinctive roundel of "Francis Howard" one time of Sheffield's Trafalgar St.

The item has been personalised with the name "Bill."
