Chipping to leather at tail of spine (quires exposed). Significant age-toning and light shelf-wear overall. Ink emendations to front cover in prior owner's hand (indicating title and publication date). Text-block has moderate foxing and age-toning to edges, and light age-toning throughout. Lacking final leaf. New York attorney and political figure John K. Porter's copy (his name appears on the cover, front pastedown and title-page). The ex librii of two former owners appear also, one on front paste-down the other on ffep (Johann Lawrence and [illegible]). RW consignment. Shelved Room G.
