12 Japanese wooden dolls. 

An assortment of Vintage Traditional style Kokeshi made by a number of different artists. The tallest Kokeshi in the group measures 36cm tall and the smallest measures 15.5cm tall. Please see photos for condition of each kokeshi. You are purchasing the Lot of 12 Kokeshi as displayed. These cannot be sold seperately or swapped for Kokeshi in other sets.

Kokeshi are Japanese dolls, originally from northern Japan. They are handmade from wood, have a simple trunk and an enlarged head with a few thin, painted lines to define the face. One characteristic of kokeshi dolls is their lack of arms or legs.
