This is a vintage hardwood & glass washboard from Carolina Washboard Company in Raleigh, North Carolina.  It is a hard-to-find Standard Family Size, number 80. It measures 24" tall & 12-1/4" wide. Made of hardwood & glass. One side of the glass is smooth & the other side is ribbed. In good vintage condition with bleaching of the wood & wear from normal use. The bottom of the legs is worn from years in a washtub & one leg is slightly bowed.  Please see photos for details. Displays nicely!
