"The ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender 2 Softbox Kit (Micro) is a handy kit that is used to soften and enlarge the light from your compact on-camera flash. The softbox micro is designed to fit flashes with a head circumference of 6.25-7.25 inches. The kit combines the micro reflector with a diffusion panel to make a softbox and uses a belt and buckle attachment method as well as lightweight and flexible materials to cut down on weight. Specifically designed for mirrorless and compact design speedlights, the FlashBender 2 Micro Reflector is optimized to handle the light output from smaller flash units. When used with on-camera flash the FlashBender 2 Micro Reflector creates a larger, softer light source than the bare flash and allows directed bounce off ceilings or walls. Off-camera it can be used to shape and control your main, background, hair, rim, or accent lights. When you attach the Micro Diffusion Panel, the Rogue FlashBender 2 Mirrorless SoftBox softens light while reducing contrast and specular highlights.
FlashBender 2 reflectors use an improved belt and buckle design to provide a faster and more secure attachment to your flash. The integrated attachment strap of the FlashBender 2 Micro Reflector is adjustable to fit the Nissin i40, Nikon SB-500, Olympus FL-600R, and compact flashes with a head circumference of 6.25" - 7.25". We developed custom fabrics for the FlashBender 2 Reflectors to reduce weight and soften highlight reflections. The softer fabrics also allow for increased flexibility and improved light shaping abilities.
