This listing is for a very rare paper Punch-Out set made by the Whitman publishing company item number 3025 it is the "Models of USA Air Defense" . It is a box of paper cutouts of an aircraft carrier and hangers with a bunch of little models of paper airplanes. I have looked for hours trying to find information on this set and could not find anything. I could not find one picture or example of this set anywhere online. The set is in pretty rough condition, the Box has all the corners blown out but the picture and colors on the front of the Box are still vibrant and look good for display. It is missing one of the hangers and one of the larger guns and I'm sure it's missing several of the little airplanes. It does have both of the search lights it has the administration building and the aircraft carrier is complete. It has one anti-aircraft gun and lots of pieces of the fighter planes and dive bombers. Some of the planes have damage to them little rips and tears. But this is obviously a very rare set that does not come around too often. It still has the original sticker from a store called Morris 5 cent to $1 stores. With an original price of $0.10! I would say this is either from the 1930s or 1940s but I could be wrong. If anyone out there reading this has any information on this set I would be very grateful to have any insight. Please look at the pictures to see the condition of the items in the set as the pictures are going to show much more detail that I can explain here. If you would like any more pictures of anything in detail please feel free to send me a message and I will do my best to help.
