The Photographs

The exceedingly rare huge prospectus

By Robert C Littlewood, SIGNED

Published by The Lytlewode Press, Melbourne, 2000

With two original photographs tipped in. The photograph to the front of the prospectus measures 12.5cm x 18cm, and the photograph to the rear measures 12.75cm x 18cm, including the narrow border.

The author discovered two sets of "lost" glass negatives taken by Norman Lindsay and his brother Lionel Lindsay. These 37 photographs date from 1909 to 1914.

These two photographs, from the set of 37, are archival quality silver gelatine photographs printed on double weight Ilford multi grade IV FB (fibre based) variable contrast paper.

The photographs were hand printed by James Calder of South Yarra. Both photographs were printed from the original glass negatives.
