I'm listing this antique PARROT glass ceiling light shade as 1910's-1920's because that's what I was told it was, and it is exactly like others I have seen listed as that era. I had someone message me that questioned whether it was mid century because of the metal drop on it. I am not any kind of expert or antique dealer. I try to describe something as best I can and give several pictures for a buyer to decide for themselves.

This had come from an estate where the whole house was packed with everything, mostly from the Victorian era through the 20's. They had been antique dealers and owned an antique lighting store. They didn't have any mid-century items there. They loved and dealt with mostly Victorian  and Edwardian era merchandise, but had some 1920's too. They had three rooms just for all the beautiful antique lighting.

So, whether this is around the 20's or mid-century, here it is, judge for yourself.  It is a gorgeous handpainted light shade.
