Use 3 AAA batteries which are included. Very clean Missing the carrier, stethoscope, blanket, and baby bottle. I can not figure out why his nose does not light up. He has switches behind the head, back, paw which all have him makes sounds like whimpering but I cannot find a button to make his nose light up or sneeze. Still very cute for this price.
