Artists and Engravers: Made by 'John Doyle' after own design. John Doyle (1797-1868) originated from Dublin. He worked on a large series of satirical lithographs between 1829 and 1851.

Subject: Antique print, titled: ''A rude design for a grand historical picture of the death of Ceasar.'' - Troubles around the "vexatia questio" or reform of Irish municipal systems.

Condition: Good, given age. Small margins, remargined. Lower edge of the caption below the image faintly browned. Small tears in the (new) left margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 36.7 x 28.7 cm.
Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 14.4 x 11.3 inch.

Medium: Lithograph on wove (vellin) paper.
