This playing card holder consists of two books that each hold 52 cards (no jokers). The books then fit in a piece that holds them together.

The material is green leather embossed with gold that has been glued onto metal. Although it is unmarked, this is typical italian embossed leatherwork.

There are two old Cunard Line decks of cards. Each book holds one deck very tightly, so there are no jokers.

The condition is very good. There is just one small spot on the outer holder where the gold has been worn off (see photo).

This is vintage, I believe from the 1950s or 1960s.
