Antique 19th century Chinese ginger jar / spice jar from the 19th century. Blue and white ironstone pottery, 11.5 cm tall, made for the export market in the Ming style.

There is a very old chip in the rim and a few in the base, staining from being buried in a Victorian landfill and crazing throughout.
