VINTAGE BRITISH PUNCH MAGAZINE NON-POLITICAL HUMOR CARTOON BY G. L. STAMPA
KNITTING HAS AGAIN SET IN WITH ITS USUAL SEVERITY: The Enemy in our midst.
Size: Partial page cartoon, cropped as shown in the first image measure 4 5/ 8 x x 7 1/2 inches. Full page measures 8 x 10 1/2 including borders. Source: British Punch magazine, October 13, 1915, pulled from the magazine, not a modern reproduction. Condition: very good indeed -- minor paper production fault, otherwise minor toning, otherwise clean, the page has been humidified and flattened for best appearance (and if framed); frontside and backside with unrelated text, as published, with some show-through on the facing side possible -- please look closely.

Punch, a magazine of humor and satire, ran from 1841-2002. A very British institution
renowned internationally for its wit and irreverence, it helped to coin the term "cartoon" in its modern
sense as a humorous illustration.
