This is a rare piece of sheet music for the song "LET'S HAVE A LOVE AFFAIR" introduced by EDDIE BUZZELL and NELLIE BREEN during the Pre-Broadway tryouts of the OTTO HARBACH, FRANK MANDEL, OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II and SIGMUND ROMBERG romantic operetta "LADY FAIR", which would be retitled "THE DESERT SONG" before opening in New York. (The Original Broadway production of "The Desert Song" would open November 30th, 1926 at New York's Casino Theatre, move to the Century Theatre on October 10th, 1927 and the Imperial Theatre on November 2nd, 1927, running for a combined 471 performances.) .....
