Titled "DJ Toxic! House Music," this original OOAK advertising artwork ca. 1994 was done with color markers on paper and signed by the late/great African American house-music DJ and artist Charles Cooper (1964-2016)--who was known professionally as DJ Toxic and was a dance-club fixture in Baltimore, Washington DC, and other cities.

With its distinctly 1990s hip-hip aesthetic, the charming artwork of a glamorous young woman wearing headphones was created as the cover for one of Cooper's CD "mix-tape" compilations. Archivally framed, the small square artwork measures 4.75 x 4.75 inches, and the glossy black "pebbled" molding is 9x9 inches. The bright-yellow mat truly makes the piece "pop."

Please note: there is some minor scuffing on the right bar of glossy molding. Free shipping within USA.

P.S. Any interested buyer will also receive (at no additional charge) the original CD compilation that came with this artwork. Please just ask.
