An original handwritten postcard sent by former NEMS and Apple employee Peter Brown to the Merseybeats drummer John Banks. The postcard pictures a beach in the Algarve, Portugal and is postmarked Albufeira 1968. It reads, "… Sorry! Staying here in a great villa (no phone, heaven) sun is a bit too hot for me. I'll manage. Looking forward to see you. When? Love Cilla Bobby Tommy & Me. Regards To Ray". The first word written on the postcard is illegible due to water damage. It measures 14.5cm x 10.5cm (5.75 inches x 4.25 inches). There is vertical creasing and wear to the edges and corners and some water damage to the upper left corner. The condition is very good minus. |
