Look at these Beauties!  Aren't they amazing?  They almost look like they are going to turn their heads and nip a carrot out of your hand and their eyes are so soft looking in profile.  I wish I could keep them! Whether you are a horse lover or a devotee of western style decor, these should be speaking to your heart right now.  Made of heavy cast iron, our lovelies are 7 inches wide and 6 1/2 hands (inches!) tall.  It's 9 inches from the bottom of the light socket to the bottom of the horse's neck and the sconce light would be about 6 inches away from the wall.  They are working and the cords are 5 feet long.  One of the brackets holding the sconce has some chipping off of the black paint in 2 places on the underside, but that is easily fixed with a quick touch-up.  These have been in long term storage for years and none of us remember where they came from or to whom they originally belonged to in the family, so their provenance is a bit of a mystery.  Only one of us took riding lessons and it wasn't for long, although we once encouraged a pony to follow us home (in the city no less!)  Maybe they were bought during that horse-crazy period of time, but who can say! With these on your wall, you'll always have friendly faces watching over you.
