This is a rare advertising postcard of GENEVIEVE HAMPER in the title role of "JULIET" in William Shakespeare's "ROMEO and JULIET", used to promote the Farewell Tour engagement of ROBERT B. MANTELL and GENEVIEVE HAMPER in a repertoire of the works of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE and other Classic Plays at the Missouri Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri beginning October 18th, 1926 ..... The repertoire included performances of Shakespeare's "MERCHANT OF VENICE", "AS YOU LIKE IT", "KING LEAR", "MACBETH" and "HAMLET" and Sir Edward Bulwer Lytton's "RICHELIEU". Each play starred ROBERT B. MANTELL who was supported by GENEVIEVE HAMPER, Miss AGNES ELLIOTT SCOTT, Miss VIOLET HALL CAINE, THERESA COLBURN, A. C. HENDERSON, GUY LINDSLEY, DAY KEENE, FRANKLIN SALISBURY, HENRY BUCKLER, VAUGHAN DEERING, DEAVER STORER, Miss VIOLET HOWARD, EDWARD LEWERS, JOHN ALEXANDER, GUY HAWKS, GEORGIA FOX, BESSIE JAMES, ABRAHAM IVORY and FRANK BARRY .....
