This is a rare January 5th, 1914 program (playbill) from the final week of the Original Broadway production of the VICTOR HERBERT, DAVID STEVENS and JUSTIN HUNTLY McCARTHY comic opera "THE MADCAP DUCHESS" at the Globe Theatre in New York City. (The production opened November 11th, 1913 and closed January 10th, 1914 after 71 performances.) ..... The musical starred ANN SWINBURNE and the cast included GLENN HALL, RUSSELL POWELL, GILBERT CLAYTON, HARRY MacDONOUGH, PERCY HELTON, FRANCIS K. CONDITION: (Please Note!) The back cover is missing (shown in the last scanned image), otherwise, with the exception of light edge wear, this program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
