Vintage 90's SNOWBLADE seated sled Plastic blow mold RARE yellow seat.

In good condition from most examples I see available. Small scuffs and superficial scratches can be found. Foam seat has a few dimples and marks. It may be missing the original foot post but so are all the examples I can find so I can not be certain. That said it could easily be replaced  with a dowel or other 1.5- 2 foot round rod. See pictures. There is an approximately 1.5" manufactured hole in the front of the ski for fitting the foot post. What follows is a blurb I found on the history of this blow mold toy.

These sleds were made for a custom manufacturing client who in turn sold them to their clients (department and hardware stores throughout the Northeast). The customer for whom they made them was named Buddy "L", which was founded in 1910. Over the course of the mid-1990s they made a few thousand SnowBlades for them. It was an interesting sled...a single blade with a seat that one would ride downhill while sitting upright, almost like a bicycle. Production of these sleds ended around 1994 and Buddy "L"  soon fell on some hard times. Buddy "L" had been sold to Empire Industries in 1990 and within 10 years Empire filed for bankruptcy. During Empire's bankruptcy, the molds became the property of the larger creditors and the whereabouts and status of the molds are unknown. No one has made a SnowBlade since they stopped in 1994.

While made for kids I bet an adult could have fun with this as well. History provided is what I found while researching. Not verified. Sled comes apart into 3 parts. Due to item being over 18" UPS is going to be the best option for shipping . I have left USPS an available option for PO box's but do expect it to be quite expensive. I charge nothing for handling.
