TORCH is the fifth spark plug production base in the world and the first in China. Its leading product "TORCH" spark plugs are widely used in automobiles, motorbikes, small gasoline engines and industrial spark plugs. During its half-century development, it has become the largest spark plug R&D, production, sales and service base in China, with an annual production capacity of 200 million units.

In 1961, Weichai TORCH Technology Co., Ltd. was established.
In 1996, Passed the ISO9002 quality system certification.
In 1998, Passed QS-9000 quality system certification.
In 2004, Passed ISO/TS16949 quality system certification.
In 2006, Passed ISO14001 environmental protection system certification.
In 2014, Passed Ford Q1 certification and became a globally recognized supplier of Ford.
In 2016, Passed SAIC QSB certification and became a globally approved supplier of SAIC GM.

In order to follow the international development trend of spark plugs, the company hired experts in the United States and Japan for technical guidance and services to strengthen the company's R&D capability. Especially in recent years, the company has launched iridium and platinum spark plugs, making the company one of the few manufacturers in the world who have mastered the production technology of iridium and platinum spark plugs and the only one in China with pilot production capacity and matching with main engines.

Today, the TORCH brand spark plugs, which started in Hunan, have gone out of China and into the world. From small to large, from weak to strong, the company has developed into a leading domestic and international world-class spark plug production enterprise.
