Spyder Checkr Video allows users to color calibrate one or more cameras, lenses and sensor combinations to get the color correct at the start of recording, in addition to streamlining post-production workflow.

The Spyder Checkr Video system includes a unique Color Pattern Chart that provides more color information at a glance. When viewed with a vectorscope, the map generates a pattern of hues at two levels of saturation, so you can see how all colors are captured, not just primary and secondary colors. The easy-to-understand circular pattern that is generated immediately provides an unprecedented level of color information.

In addition, the glossy surface of the cards provides a wider color gamut and helps identify light spots. Eliminating these flares ensures a clean recording of the Spyder Checkr Video, so you have an accurate target for your color correction and profiling.

The Spyder Checkr video card system consists of 5 interchangeable, high-gloss color video target cards, including:

• An innovative, patent-pending color pattern map designed to leverage the way video is processed for more precise, nuanced color accuracy. The card contains 12 color patterns in a unique configuration with a black/50% gray/white color pattern in the center, plus 6 skin tone tiles.
• A grayscale map with (2) 11-step grayscale bars, plus 3 solid bars of white, black, and 50% gray, so you can make detailed adjustments to exposure and contrast.
• An additional color patch card with 12 color patches, 6 skin tone patches and a black, white and 50% gray bar for workflow flexibility.
