TELEKNOX CARBON FIBRE SHAFTS TO FIT 600/800MINELAB EQUINOX METAL DETECTOR AS A REPLACEMENT.
Here we have a choice of Eight colours in our range of Teleknox replacement Carbon Fibre shafts to fit the 6/800 Minelab Equinox.
(They do not fit the new 7/900 Equinoxs)
They were designed by Scottie Ellis a good friend of mine from Canada who came up with a super idea incorporated in only Teleknox shafts to make them far superior and user friendly than other shafts available. Original and only available on Teleknox's is our anti rotation channel running underneath of the shaft the complete length. This ensures that everything attached like the Control box and attachments like our own Injection molded Folding control box adapter (also designed by Scotty) do not twist on the shaft, they stay attached where you need them, lodged in the channel and cannot twist sideways.
There is a drain hole positioned at the bottom end of our shafts to let any water out that has entered.
We now use much better and stronger clamps on all our shafts than we did when we first introduced the Teleknox. Also as an addition we have incorporated two circular pieces of aluminum that insert directly under each of our two clamps in the lower rods, this ensures that it is almost impossible to crack the carbon on the lower rod by users overtightening the clamps. This was a big problem on earlier Teleknox models, now completely cured by these inserts.
When you receive your new Teleknox shaft please unpack it and lay the three pieces out so that you can see all the relevant drill holes are there for attaching your armcup etc. Occasionally in their excitement people call me before they have looked to say have I got to drill the shaft to put the armcup on :-)
All our Teleknox shafts come with a free Keypad sticker for the control box to match the colour of the shaft you purchased.
There is also in the kit attached some spare washers, ideally its always a good idea to change the coil bolt washers regularly perhaps every six months because over compressed washers can lead to you overtightening the coil bolt and then possibly snapping your coil lugs.
