The item weighs approx, 30g

The item is in a good general condition with a solid hinge and firm closing action.
The item has not been personalised and still retains it's internal gilt wash.

The hallmarks are clear for; Birmingham, and a Lion Passant.
The date letter is an "i" for 1908.

The manufacturer mark is "H&A." for
"Horton & Allday" one time of Birmingham's Warstone Lane.
