Description: Source unknown, to be determined. State: Only state. Ref: Le Combe 117.

Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet' after own design. Nicolas-Toussaint Charlet (1792-1842) was a supporter of Napoleon Bonaparte. He choose his subjectmatter based on this preference. Many prints of soldiers were made by him in the new medium of lithography. Lasteyrie is considered to be amongst the first publishers of lithography.

Condition: Very good, given age. Uncut example, in matting. Some staining and foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 11.4 x 16.5 inch.
