Product description

It is a wooden architectural model of 1/150 scale "Kiyomizu-dera" from Woody JOE.

The main hall (national treasure) is a hipped roof, cypress bark, and shinden-zukuri style building.

The inside of the hall is divided into three parts: the outer camp (the chapel), the inner camp, and the inner camp by a huge row of round pillars. The eleven-faced Senju Kannon statue is enshrined.

Known as the "Stage of Kiyomizu," this place is lined with giant zelkova pillars up to about 12 meters long on the steep cliffs of Kinunkei, and a nail is drawn using a technique called "hanging." It is a wooden structure assembled without using books.

The "stage" overhanging from the main hall is exactly the height of a four-story building, and is a "Higashi stage" with an area of ​​about 190 square meters.

December 1994 Registered as a World Cultural Heritage site based on the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto" as "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto".

The current main hall was rebuilt in 1633 (Kanei 10).

The kit makes heavy use of precision laser-cut parts, and reproduces everything from easy-to-assemble skeletons to graceful curved roofs.
