1. The TP5100 is a switching step-down dual section 8.4v/single section 4.2v lithium battery charging management chip. Its QFN16 subcompact package and simple peripheral circuits make the TP5100 ideal for high-current charging management applications in portable devices.
2. Meanwhile,TP5100 has built-in input overcurrent, undervoltage protection, chip overtemperature protection, short-circuit protection, battery temperature monitoring and battery reverse connection protection.
3. The TP5100 has a wide input voltage of 5v-18v, and the battery charging is divided into three stages: trickle precharging, constant current and constant voltage. The trickle precharging current and constant current charging current are adjusted by external electric Yang, and the maximum charging current reaches 2A.
4. The TP5100 uses a switch mode with a ton rate of 400kHz, allowing it to use smaller peripherals and retain less heat during high current charging.
