The masterpiece military watch adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps in the 1950s has been reissued! TYPE-17, an improved version of TYPE-16, Waltham's masterpiece military watch is reproduced.
The hour markers from 1 to 12 are printed inside the hour markers from 13:00 to 24:00. The luminescent hour markers have turned orangey brown with age. The luminescent indexes have also peeled off in some places. This gives the watch a good vintage look, and we have tried our best to reproduce it.
Features
The A-17, a U.S. military watch, was produced by Elgin and Bulova as well as Waltham. Waltham was the first to produce the A-17, so Waltham is famous for this design of the A-17. The dial has a vintage-like finish and a smaller case that could be considered the original size. The coin-edged bezel is faithfully reproduced, as is the coin-edged back cover. The cloth cotton belt gives it a more original vintage finish.
