Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Gutthater' after own design. Made by 'Giorgio Gutthater' after own design. Although these etchings are described as being by Georg Thomas Gutthater (1654-1695), based on the watermarks in sheets from this series, they are most probably by his father Giorgio Gutthater.There is a large set of 13 portraits of members of the Gutthater family from Nurnberg.
