Here is a vintage wind-up monkey with cymbals.   I cannot find any name or log on the toy, but it is possibly from the Louis Marx Company.

The toy stands about 9 inches tall and is balanced by the two wheels on the tail.   The wheels seem to be crooked and the toy tends to lean to one side.  The key does turn and winds the toy - but it doesn't self-operate.   The monkey will move its arms and play the cymbals when it's legs are raised.  The painted or lithographed body shows wear, dirt and some spots of corrosion.  Please see the pictures and ask any questions.
