This is a high quality piece made of brass and glass, weighty in the hand.
It was meant as a display piece only and is not a functional lamp.
The brass has acquired a really nice honest patina.
It has an engraved mark, the three feathers of Wales.
Research revealed this replica was made in Wales. Produced in a cottage industry owned by some of the original miner´s
offspring.
