These fittings are especially suitable for connecting plastic, rubber of soft PVC, silicone hoses in industrial and domestic applications.
As hoses have various wall thicknesses the size is by ID measurement of the hose.
I.E 8mm Internal diameter hose needs a 8mm (5/16") fitting.
