Description:  It is an authentic engraved antique map approximately 165 years old from an 1847 edition of M. Malte-Brun's System of Universal Geography and Description of all the Parts of the World, published by Samuel Walker: Boston, 1847. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It is not matted, mounted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic. Overall a very nice map in great condition that would frame up beautifully with an antique appearance as desired.
Size: The map image measures approximately 8 by 9 1/2 inches (20x24cm) on a 9 by 11" (23x28cm) page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Good condition for its age, printed on a heavy page, uncolored as originally issued. There is some darkening around the edges and some light spotting on the map that is not very obvious except on close inspection. It is a strong impression and would frame up well. Priced to Sell!
