Description: It is an authentic antique copper engraved map approximately 180 years old with original hand coloring as issued.  It is from Thomas Ewing's New General Atlas Containing Distinct Maps of all the Principal States and Kingdom's of the World, published in Edinburgh by Oliver & Boyd, circa 1840, a copy of the title page is also included for authenticity. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pics. A rare map that is not offered very often.

Size: The map image measures approximately 7 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches (18x24cm) on a 9 1/4 by 11 1/2" page (23x29cm) with a margin all around as seen in the pic.

Condition: It is in Very Good condition for its age, basically as seen in the pics, blank on the reverse, with original hand coloring as issued, printed on a heavy paper. There are a couple of minor smudges in the bottom corner margin, otherwise it is very clean with bright color, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
