The United States Army Air Forces was an independent branch of the United States Army during and immediately after World War II. It was established in 1941 and ceased to exist in 1947, being the forerunner of today's US Air Force. Its bombers specialized in high-altitude, daylight attacks aimed at the progressive destruction of Germany's military, industrial and economic infrastructure. Aircrew members participating in these missions were equipped with an isothermal flight suit suitable for low temperatures, a nylon cap, solid goggles, an oxygen mask, a life jacket, gloves, and rubber-soled boots.

The Miniature is 6.5 CM Long brand new in Box .
