Description: It is an original antique map approximately 235 years old by Johann Michael Probst from his Atlas Minor ex Tabulis. The map is well documented in the cartouche which states that it is by Ioh. (or Johann) Michael Probst, Augsburg. The map was printed by his son Iohan Georg Probst, son, 1786 August, as stated in the bottom margin. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic.
Size: The entire page measures 7 1/2 by 11 3/4 inches (20x30cm) with the printed area slightly smaller as seen in the main pic.
Condition: Good condition for its age, blank on reverse, with original handcoloring as issued. There are a some nicks out of the bottom and soft creasing on the right corner, otherwise it is a strong impression with bright color printed on a high cotton page with the copper plate marks embossed in the margins. Overall, a very nice example with a rich antique qaulity that is rare to find, see the pics and description below.
