Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 130 years old from the 1887 edition of Andrees Allgemeiner Handaltas, (Beilefeld and Liepzig: Verlag von Velhagen & Klassing. A copy of the title page is included for authenticity. It was printed by Chromolithography and has nice strong color. The labeling language is in German. In general, the Andrees maps are exceptional for their detail and vibrant color, which are among the best of the late 19th century maps. The map is not matted nor framed being sold as a single map, as seen in the first pic, printed on a large heavy sheet with partial maps on the reverse. Overall a beautiful map in great condition.
Size: The map image area from neat line to neat line measures approximately 9 by 14 1/2 inches (23x37cm) on a 10 1/2 by 16 1/2" (26x42cm) page with a margin all around for framing.
Condition: The map is in Good condition for its age printed on a bright, very heavy page with a partial map on the reverse. There is light tonal ageing, slight handling in the margins and darkening and wear along the edge, otherwise it is very clean, see the pics for more info on the condition. The pics are of the actual map.
