Rare antique compass plotting rule with deviation

Made by “Potter, Poultry London 1851”

15” Ebony parallel rule with brass compass.

This is an extremely rare and interesting piece and is an excellent addition to any collection.

One tiny bit of the bone missing next to the compass as shown, this doesn’t effect the use of the item and is hardly noticeable. Other than that there is no damage.
