Bros. Henneberg company made silver plated hollow ware SINGLE candle stick holder.
company of Warsaw , Poland 1856- 1944 (ish).
marking on bottom foot = 1874-1883 & 1883-1897. usually there is a Secondary mark to help date it, Not on this one.
Note this logo has a lower case "w" in the center & NO inner oval. This dose have an " X " mark on the logo , which I can't find any information on.
the company moved a lot (street locations). Workers; 1876 = 90 people , 1884= 150 people , 1900 = 266 people.
the company logo in general went away in 1939 when under German occupation in WW2. they still made a ton of items ,always busy, mainly for the German gov. & military.
by 1944 most of the building were destroyed by the war. existed in name only for awhile. then when occupied by Russia forced together with other companies ,as a state run business.
eventually disappeared.
very nice overall condition. there's a set up currently , vast majority of the plating gone & they want $200.00
This company won tons of awards over the years in completions & many of their pieces are in Museums !!!
priced to move!
